UPDATE: Body Found In Cornish Arcade

A man's body has been discovered in an arcade in Launceston.

Police say they were called to Broad Street at around midday on Sunday.

The man is believed to be in his forties and his death is not being treated as suspicious.

Officials are in the process of finding and telling his family.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Police were informed by the ambulance at around 12pm on Sunday 8th of January of a body of a man in his forties being discovered in White Hart Arcade, Broad Street, Launceston.

"A cordon was put in place as emergency services attended.

"Police are not treating his death as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.

"Efforts are underway to locate possible next of kin."
