Police appeal after woman threw tables off balcony

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman threw large metal tables off a balcony in Penzance.

Officers say it happened on Wharf Road during the early hours two Sundays ago.

CCTV cameras suffered damage and anyone who saw anything is asked to get in touch.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police are appealing for witnesses as during the early hours of Sunday 12th March 2017, at approximately 3.20am at Wharfside in Penzance, a female offender started throwing large metal tables over the balcony onto Wharf Road.

"This caused damage to the CCTV cameras and the tables.

"The female had shoulder length brown hair wearing black jeans and white blouse under a fabric jacket with black leather arms."

Anyone with information is asked to contact police quoting crime reference CR/018311/17.
