Man 'stabbed' in Hayle

A man has allegedly been stabbed in Hayle.
Police were called to Fore Street yesterday afternoon - to reports someone had been seriously assaulted.
A man in his early thirties had suffered puncture wounds but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A 51-year-old local woman has been arrested and is in custody.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called just after 3.30pm yesterday [Thursday 20th April] to Fore Street, Hayle, after reports that a man had been seriously assaulted.
"Upon arrival, a man in his early 30s was found with puncture wounds.
"His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and he was taken to hospital by land ambulance.
"A 51-year-old woman from Hayle has been arrested on suspicion for GBH with intent and is currently in police custody."12:05pm 21st April 2017
