WATCH: Assault leaves man with fractured jaw

Police investigating an assault that left a man with a fractured jaw have released fresh CCTV.

Officers say the victim needed surgery after it happened outside the Crown and Anchor on Plymouth Barbican.

Detectives added that two men were assaulted on a Sunday night back in April.

They think the people pictured in the footage might be able to help in connection with what happened.


A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police have released CCTV footage of members of the public who they wish to identify and speak to in connection to an assault in Plymouth.

"Between 10pm and 11.50pm on Sunday the 30th of April, two men were assaulted by an unknown man outside the Crown and Anchor on the Barbican, Plymouth.

"One of the victims sustained a fractured jaw which required surgery. The other victim received minor bruising.

"Police would like to identify the people in the footage as they may be able to assist police in connection with this incident".
