Man 'stabbed' in back and chest in Falmouth

A man has allegedly been stabbed in the back and chest in Falmouth.

Police got the shout to the Berkeley Cottages area just after midnight on Monday.

They say a man in his thirties suffered stab wounds but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Officers are now investigating an incident of grievous bodily harm.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police are investigating an incident of GBH at a property on Berkley Cottages in Falmouth on Monday 11th Sept between 12.15am and 12.25am.

"A man in his 30s was stabbed in the back and the chest.

"Ambulance attended and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

"Police enquiries are ongoing."
