A rush-hour crash that blocked a stretch of the A30 has caused traffic trouble for commuters in Cornwall.

A lorry ended up on its side up a grass bank, after it came off the road near Temple.

Police, called to the scene just before 7am on Tuesday, said it blocked one lane but no-one was hurt.

An officer thought the lorry would have to be craned out and told Pirate FM drivers could face delays of up to two hours.

Inrix Traffic and Travel was reporting heavy traffic and delays on the southbound carriageway.

On its website, it says: "The A30 - heavy traffic and partially blocked due to accident.

"Lorry involved Southbound between Blacktor Downs Road and Millpool Lane (Preeze Cross)".

However, the incident was cleared by 10.30am on Tuesday.
