Police in Camborne have launched an appeal after seizing a string of stolen goods they say are linked to burglaries across the south-west.

Local officers have launched an appeal to find the owners of the items, which include jewellery, tools and even a dress.

PCSO Linzi Regan said: "We are now appealing for information in an attempt to reunite this property.

"Some of the items have been linked to burglaries in Bristol, Devon and Dorset so we are appealing to the wider areas also. These items were located at a property in Camborne.

"Several items have been given back to the rightful owners who live from further afield which is why we believe they may have been taken from burglaries out of the Devon and Cornwall counties.

"A man was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and has been released under investigation pending further enquires".
