There are big problems on the A30 if you are heading out of Cornwall.

Closures are in place just over the border near Sourton, after a massive lorry fire overnight.

The HGV was carrying 17 tonnes of gammon when the blaze broke out in the early hours of Thursday morning.

One lane remains cordoned off but at one stage, the road between Sourton Cross and Okehampton Services was shut.

Inrix Traffic and Travel said: "One lane closed due to lorry fire and recovery work on A30 Eastbound between A386 (Sourton Cross) and B3260 (Okehampton Services). Traffic is coping well.

"Lane one (of two) is closed. The road was closed for just over an hour from 02:20am.

"Approximately 17 tonnes of Gammon joints are in the lorry and need to be removed".
