WATCH: Paloma Faith coming back to Cornwall

Brit Award winning singer Paloma Faith is coming back to Cornwall.

The star behind hits like 'Only Love Can Hurt Like This' will headline at Live in The Wyldes this summer.

Organisers of the festival have confirmed she will play the event near Bude on Sunday the 8th July and tickets will go on sale this Friday at 9am.

Renowned for her eccentric style and wild wardrobe, Paloma shot to fame in 2009 with her debut album 'Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful?'.

She has racked up a string of hits over the years including 'Only Love Can Hurt Like This' and 'Picking Up The Pieces'.

Paloma scooped her first Brit Award in 2015 is also in the running for 2018, having recently been nominated Best British Female Solo Artist.

As one of the only British female artists this decade to have her last three albums go double platinum in the UK, her new album is currently on course to become her fourth in a row.

Event co-founder, Sam Dunnett said: "Off the back of some really well-received performances last year, we're excited to enter our second year of Live in The Wyldes.

"A couple of us in the team have been lucky enough to see Paloma play live so we know for a fact that she will bring a really exciting show to the southwest this summer.".

In 2017, Live in The Wyldes welcomed Rag 'n' Bone Man and Chase & Status to the hand-crafted stage of The Wyldes site.

Marking the start of the live shows, it was double Brit Award winner Rory Graham AKA Rag 'n' Bone Man that opened the event to what was his only performance in Devon and Cornwall last summer.

The Wyldes site is also home to the multi-award winning Leopallooza Festival which has seen performances from a string of major rock bands and international singer-songwriters over the past 11 years.

Nestled within a tree-lined valley in north Cornwall, The Wyldes site lies just a few miles from the beach and moments from the scenic Atlantic Highway.

Created and maintained using recycled and sustainable materials, The Wyldes follows a 0% landfill policy across all events.
