Another four men charged over Truro robbery

Four more men have been charged in connection with a robbery in Truro.

Jewellers, Michael Spiers, was targeted first thing on one Wednesday morning back in January.

A busy stretch of Lemon Street was cordoned off as Devon and Cornwall Police launched an investigation.

Nine men are due to appear before Truro Crown Court next Wednesday, after being remanded in custody.

The charges include robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, having a fake firearm and breaching a deportation order.

The men charged are:

Tomas Bakierskis, aged 24 and from Bristol

Haroldas Ivanovas, aged 20 and from Newquay

Andrius Buinevicius, aged 41 and from Lithuania

Saulius Mickus, aged 28 and from Bristol

Rogertas Slekaitis, aged 25 and from Kings Lynn. These men have been charged with robbery, conspire to commit robbery and have an imitation firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.

They were remanded in custody after appearing before Truro Magistrates Court back in January.

Newly charged are:

Agris Davidonis, aged 30 and from an address in Gunnislake

Gytis Inokaitis, aged 35 from Plymouth

Deimantas Burba, aged 32 from no fixed abode. These men have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

Harijus Jaciaskas, aged 32 from Manchester. This man has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and breach of a deportation order.

All nine men have been remanded in custody and will appear before Truro Crown Court on Wednesday 13th February 2018.
