WATCH: Cornish penguins see snow for the first time

penguins in the snow

This is the adorable moment penguins at an animal sanctuary in Cornwall saw snow for the first time.

The white stuff might have ground the Duchy to a halt on Wednesday, closing schools and causing chaos on our roads.

But these Humboldt's penguins at Paradise Park in Hayle were bamboozled as flurries fell over in their pool.

The birds were splashing around with their beaks open, trying to eat the flakes as they landed in the water.

Staff shared the video on Facebook and Twitter, posting: "Our penguins, many of whom have never seen snow before, did not know what to make of the white stuff this morning!

"Watch them in the water trying to catch snowflakes in their beaks".

If you watch video all day, make it this one! Who doesn't love an animal's reaction to snow?!
