The death of a man whose body was found on the Isles of Scilly has been ruled as 'not suspicious'.

Josh Clayton disappeared after a party on Tresco in September 2015.

The 23-year-old from Taunton worked on the island as a bar manager.

A massive air and sea search was launched, which included the coastguard, a police dive team, Cornwall Search and Rescue volunteers, a lifeboat and specialist dog teams.

His body was pulled from the water 10 days later.

Police said Josh's death wasn't suspicious but an inquest was put on hold in 2017 when new evidence came to light.

A new investigation was launched in September last year.

Police have now concluded their investigation and say that 'no suspicious activity was found and no suspects were identified'.

Detective Superintendent Steve Parker, from Devon and Cornwall Police, said: "We have now concluded our investigation on behalf of the coroner.

"We have kept an open mind throughout the investigation.

"No suspicious activity was found and no suspects were identified.

"We have kept the family informed throughout this process and they are aware of the outcome of the report.

"The file has now been submitted to the coroner."
