The family of a missing man from Cornwall have confirmed he is home safe.

Police put out an appeal to trace Patrick McGeever, who disappeared in the St Columb area.

Officers were concerned for the 40-year-old's safety and urged anyone who might have seen him to get in touch.

His partner posted a thank you after an appeal on Pirate FM's Facebook page was shared almost 200 times.

Lilly Louise confirmed "he is home now", adding: "Thank you so much to the police, Pirate FM and people that phoned in with sightings, shared this post and sent messages of support. Love to you all".
