Cornish firefighters take on 'Hillish and Hellish' route for injured colleagues

Three Cornish fire fighters took on a Hillish and Hellish Ten Mile race around Looe and Talland in full kit whilst carrying breathing apparatus.

The men from Looe Community Fire Station took on the challenge on Sunday to give back to fire fighters who are injured or need psychological support following trauma in the line of duty.

Their Just Giving page says their motivation to do the challenge is "because we want to raise money for our injured colleagues".

They are donating the funds to The Fire Fighters Charity the everyday heroes come to terms with what they've experienced.

They have already exceeded the £1,500 target by almost 25%.
