Officers say the air ambulance was called and there was a 'number of casualties'.

At least two people were reported to be injured but the extent of injuries is not yet known.

Now Devon and Cornwall Police has confirmed that the road has been re-opened, following the recovery work.

At the time, a spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Emergency services were called to a three-car collision on the A38 at Glynn, near Bodmin Parkway, at 2.30pm today (16th March).

"The road is blocked and closed at Twelve Woods, Doublebois and Turf Down.

"Drivers are advised to find an alternative route for the time being."
