'Do not park here' note left on emergency medic's car

Published by the Pirate FM News Team at 6:01am 3rd April 2018. (Updated at 10:28am 3rd April 2018)

A medic has returned to their car in Cornwall to find a note warning them about parking.

The Bodmin first responder was called to help a patient with a possible allergic reaction.

They had a sign in their windscreen identifying who they were during the shout on Saturday.

However, after spending just under two hours treating the casualty, they returned to find this message.

Crews posted a picture on Twitter, describing what happened as 'very disappointing'.

The responder told Pirate FM another crew were asked to move their ambulance while treating the patient.

They tweeted: "Just cleared from the 3rd and final call of the day; a patient with a possible allergic reaction.

"On scene for just under 2 hours then come back to the car to find this - despite the 'Ambulance Service First Responder' sign clearly displayed in the window. Very disappointed".

Locals were quick to reply, including Andrew who said: "Some people just don't care it seems that there is a volunteer there helping a sick person. Just seems to be the norm now unfortunately".

Kelly added: "This is becoming a common problem. Some people really have no compassion.

"If it was one of their loved ones or even themselves who needed I'm sure they would think differently about sticking a note on the window screen of the one who is treating them".
