Crack cocaine seized after drugs raid in Bodmin

A 'significant' amount of crack cocaine has been seized after a drugs raid in Bodmin.

Police say four people were arrested after swooping on a property on Vivian Road on Monday morning.

They have since been released under investigation.

Officers in the town say they are working hard to target suppliers and dealers to help get drugs off the streets.

Bodmin Police posted on Facebook: "This morning two Misuse of Drugs warrants were executed in the Bodmin town area which resulted in a significant seizure of drugs and the arrest of 4 people.

"Bodmin Police are continuing to work hard to target drug suppliers and dealers at premises all over the town, so that we can remove drugs and weapons from the streets of Bodmin.

"If anyone has any information that can assist us with regards to any suspicious activity in our area, then please get in touch."

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall added: "Following a raid at a property on Vivian Road in Bodmin on Monday 9th April - A 47-year-old woman, a 33-year-old woman, a 52-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A- crack cocaine and have been released under investigation pending further enquiries"
