This is the moment a blaze broke out on a train in Penzance railway station.

Firefighters from five towns across west Cornwall got the shout just after 8pm on Tuesday night.

Smoke and flames could be seen billowing from the area and local have described the smell hanging in the air.

Crews used several jets to bring the blaze under control.

The fire started in the power car which has now been moved to a different location.

The station was closed and there were delays to services on Tuesday.

Now Great Western Railway says it is back open and services should be running as normal on Wednesday.
