Two people taken to hospital after A30 crash

A car has rolled down a bank and ended up in a ditch after a crash on the A30 near Launceston.
Two people have been taken to Derriford Hospital and one has potentially life-threatening injuries.
Police, fire crews and paramedics all got the shout just before 5am on Friday morning.
One lane is closed and officers are going over the scene.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Emergency services were informed of a Peugeot 206 having left the road and rolled down a bank on the A30 near Launceston, at around 4:40am today (20/4).
"One man was trapped and has since been freed, and one lane remains closed for initial investigative work.
"A female passenger has been taken to hospital as a precaution.
"The male driver has injuries are thought to be serious, possibly life-threatening; both have been taken to Derriford Hospital."

A Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "At 4.49am the Critical Control Centre received an emergency call from Devon and Cornwall Police, requesting the attendance of Cornwall Fire to a road traffic collision on the A30.
"Two fire appliances from Launceston were immediately mobilised, along with the rescue tender from Bodmin.
"On arrival crews discovered one vehicle in a ditch, with one person trapped.
"Crash rescue equipment was used to remove the casualty, who was left in the care of the ambulance service.
"Devon and Cornwall Police were also in attendance."

A spokesperson for Inrix Traffic and Travel said: "One lane closed due to accident, vehicle leaving the carriageway involved on A30 Western Road Westbound between A388 Western Road / B3254 Western Road (Pennygillam) and A395 (Kennards House).
"Lane one (of two) is closed following a vehicle leaving the carriageway and coming to rest on the grass verge."
