Super Saver Mondays in Truro just got bigger

Super Saver Mondays in Truro just got bigger

Published by the Pirate FM News Team at 8:32am 30th April 2018. (Updated at 12:00pm 30th April 2018)

If you didn't have a reason to visit Truro in the week before, you do now.

Quiet Mondays are a thing of the past as businesses across the city launch special deals to blow away those Monday blues.

A number of retailers, restaurants and venues got involved in Super Saver Mondays earlier this year, by putting a £5 offer on every week.

Now up to 19 have joined the bandwagon in a bid to liven up the centre on the slower days.

Deals range from £5 cocktails at popular bar The Old Grammar School, to a £5 cinema ticket at the Plaza or an 'All Star' burger at Hubbox for, you guessed it, £5.

With the May Bank Holiday coming up, BID bosses say it's the perfect time to take advantage of what's on offer.

Alun Jones, Truro BID Manager said: "We are thrilled at the response and support we have received from Truro businesses in support of the Super Saver Monday campaign.

"It has clearly escalated into providing an unrivalled enticing offer for people to visit Truro.

"What better opportunity to sample and make the most of this great initiative than on the Bank Holiday Monday on May 7th.

"Whether it is a drink with friends or a great value day out for the whole family, the huge variety of offers available now means there is a £5 offer for any time of day".
