A biker has an injured leg after a crash on the A38 in south east Cornwall.

Police say a motorbike and car collided at Landrake just before midday on Monday.

Emergency services were called to the scene but the biker's injuries are not thought to be serious or life-threatening.

The road was partially blocked and there were reports of heavy and slow traffic in the area.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "A Suzuki motorcycle and a Jaguar were involved in a collision, which was reported to police just before midday.

"Emergency services are at the scene, and whilst the rider has suffered leg injuries, they are not thought to be serious or life-threatening.

"No road closures are currently in place, but there may be traffic disruption in the area."
