PHOTOS: Shocking injuries after attack outside nightclub

Police have posted a fresh appeal following an 'unprovoked' attack outside a nightclub in Redruth.

Photos which show the injuries suffered by two men near Zone have been shared on Facebook.

The 22-year-olds from Hayle ended up in hospital after being jumped from behind.

It happened as the pair left the venue in the early hours of Friday the 27th April.

Devon and Cornwall Police are urging anyone who saw something between 2am and 2.30am to come forward.

At the time, a force spokesperson said: ""Police are appealing for information following a serious assault on two men in Redruth.

"The incident happened outside The Twilight Zone nightclub between 2am and 2.30am today [Friday 27th April].

"Two men were walking towards the car park when they were jumped from behind by three men in what appears to be an unprovoked attack.

"Both men, aged 22 and from Hayle, received nasty facial and head injuries.

"Both men were treated at hospital and have since been released.

"Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to assist with the investigation to contact them".
