Police confirm missing girl found safe in Falmouth

A 12-year-old girl who went missing from her home in Penryn has been found.

Malia Pellow disappeared from her home at around 8pm on Friday night.

On Saturday, police said they were becoming 'increasingly concerned' for her safety.

However, officers have now confirmed the youngster was discovered safe and well in Falmouth.

A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Malia Pellow, who was reported missing from Penryn on Friday, has been found safe and well on Saturday 19th May in Falmouth.

"We thank the public for their assistance in locating her".
