Trains in and out of Cornwall running again

Trains between Liskeard and Plymouth are now running again.

It is after services were suspended because someone had attempted to steal signalling cables on Tuesday.

Both Great Western Railway and Crosscountry services were affected, with major delays and cancelled trains.

Replacement buses were put on while maintenance teams sorted out the issue.

At the time, a GWR spokesperson said: "There is a fault with the signalling system between Liskeard and Plymouth, all lines are blocked.

"Disruption is expected until later this afternoon. Check before you travel."
