Appeal for missing Liskeard man

An urgent appeal has been launched to find a missing man from Liskeard.

Nigel Warne was last seen on Wednesday and officers say they are extremely concerned for his welfare.

Searches are being carried out across the local area after he is said to have disappeared from his home in Henwood.

The 44-year-old is described as around 6ft 2 ins tall, of a stocky build with black, shaved hair.

He is thought to have been wearing jogging bottoms and trainers at the time of his disappearance.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police are seeking the public’s help to locate a 44-year-old man who has been reported missing from his home in Henwood, Liskeard.

"Nigel Warne was last seen on Wednesday 6 June and police are extremely concern for his welfare.

"Local searches are underway and officers are asking for anyone who sees Nigel to contact them immediately.

"He is described as around 6ft 2ins tall, of a stocky build with black, shaved hair. He was wearing jogging bottoms and trainers."

Anyone who sees Nigel or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact police by phone on 101, quoting log number 218 of 06/06/18.
