Two young men are targeted in a 'vicious' and 'unprovoked' attack near Camborne.

Police say one victim was head-butted and punched to the floor by a teenager, before two others joined in.

The second was left with a broken jaw after being repeatedly punched in the face when he tried to break up the fight.

Officers say the assaults happened at Tuckingmill Valley Park in the middle of Saturday afternoon.

Devon and Cornwall Police think it may have been filmed by people using the skate bowls and have launched an appeal.

A force spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for witnesses following a vicious assault on two young men at Tuckingmill Valley Park in Camborne.

"The incident occurred at approximately 4.30pm on Saturday 9th June 2018 in what has been reported as an unprovoked attack.

"The first victim was set upon by a teenager who head-butted and punched the victim to the floor. Two other young men then joined in the fight kicking and punching the victim multiple times.

"Another young man tried to intervene and break up the fight but he too was then assaulted and punched repeatedly to the face and sustained a broken jaw in the process. The first victim sustained a black eye and multiple cuts and bruises.

"It is believed this incident was filmed by a number of people using the skate bowls and police are keen to recover any mobile phone footage of the incident".
