Passengers treated by paramedics after mini bus crash

Police and paramedics have been scrambled to a mini bus crash in west Cornwall.

Officers say 17 people, thought to be children, were on board when it collided with a car.

The coastal road from Zennor to St Ives was shut and two people were treated for minor injuries.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called to a road traffic collision at 12.45pm on Thursday, involving a car and a mini bus on the B3306 at Zennor.

"The bus was carrying 17 passengers.

"One passenger was treated by the ambulance for neck pain."

A South Western Ambulance spokesperson added: "We were called at around 12.45pm to attend a reported road traffic collision involving a minibus and a car on B3306 near Zennor.

"We sent an ambulance to attend the incident.

"Two patients were treated for minor injuries at the scene by our paramedics."
