Firefighters have tweeted yet another warning about parked cars in Cornwall.

Crews in Lostwithiel say they were delayed on a shout, describing the parking as 'ridiculous'.

The photo shows a previous problem on Bodmin Hill, but teams say Wednesday night's issue was much the same.

"Crews were sent to a shout up Bodmin Hill in Lostwithiel and once again we were delayed due to ridiculous parking of cars.

"It could be your friends and family we could be going to".

This is not the first time parking has caused problems for Cornwall's emergency services - like this time last year in Falmouth.

This was the moment crews had to get out of their engine to navigate their way through a row of parked cars.

Firefighters in Newquay had a similar problem in summer 2016, after a shout to flames erupting from a pavement.

At the time, the crew warned that lives could have been put at risk in a life or death situation because they could not get their engines through.

"Crews were called to Trebarwith Crescent with reports of flames issuing from a manhole in the road.

"Residents were evacuated from six properties as it was thought that gas was involved.

"Bad parking delayed crews which concerns us.

"If this was a life critical incident we would have lost valuable time reaching those effected. The problem getting worse in Newquay".
