Two taken to hospital after a crash near Helston

Two people have been taken to hospital after a rush-hour crash near Helston.

A motorbike and a car were caught in the collision at Breage on Thursday morning.

Police and paramedics were called and it blocked a stretch of the A394 for over an hour.

"We were called  at 8.25am on Thursday to Higher Road. A silver Renault and a black Sym were involved in the collision.

"Two people were taken to hospital as a precaution".

Devon and Cornwall Police

Police were directing traffic near The Queen's Arms pub, however the road cleared at around 10am.
