Car and van crash on busy Truro to Falmouth road

A car and a van have crashed on a busy stretch of road between Truro and Falmouth.

There was very slow traffic on the A39 at Perranarworthal after it happened on Tuesday afternoon.

The road was blocked both ways between the Norway Inn and the Devoran roundabout.

No one was hurt but it caused by traffic problems in the area.

Police have confirmed that the road has re-opened but there are still some delays.

"This was a two-vehicle road traffic collision involving a car and a van on the A39 at Perranarworthal, Truro, at 2.55pm today.

"It happened by the Norway Inn and there were no injuries.

"Traffic was gridlocked in the area and the road was clear by 3.15pm".
