Amanda Holden has paid touching tributes to her late grandmother during a visit to Cornwall.

The TV presenter revealed Ethel had died at the end of July, with a picture of the blood moon.

She tweeted to say that all the stars they could steal from the night sky would "never be enough".

Now Amanda is visiting the Duchy to see her "Cornish family" and remember her "lovely nan".

She tweeted a photo with Port Isaac sea shanty group, The Fisherman's Friends, to thank them for their tribute.

The Britain's Got Talent judge has even been surfing on a Cornish beach, to "reflect".

Speaking to The Sun's Fabulous magazine last year, Amanda described her grandmother as her "ultimate role model" and "one feisty and fabulous lady".

"Nan worked full-time in administration in an ice cream factory while raising a family.

"I can only hope I’m as good a role model to my girls as she has been to me".
