'Dangerous driving incident' sparks police appeal

Police are appealing for dash cam footage after a dangerous driving incident near Tavistock.

A driver was stopped and reported after it happened on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers want anyone who saw what happened on the A386 between the town and Plymouth to come forward.

"Police are seeking witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage following a dangerous driving incident on the A386 just outside of Tavistock.

"The incident occurred between 3.30pm and 4pm on Tuesday 7th August. A driver was stopped and reported for dangerous driving.

"Police are keen for motorists to come forward who were driving between Tavistock and Plymouth on the A386 who have dash cam footage at the time of the incident.

"Officers are particularly keen to speak with the occupants of a black Vauxhall Corsa that was travelling towards Tavistock and had an ā€˜Lā€™ plate on the bonnet."
