WATCH: Trago Christmas lights go on... in AUGUST!

Christmas in August? That is what shoppers in Falmouth were treated to when Trago Mills switched on its festive lights!

The flashing display was lit up on Friday and Saturday nights after the lights were plugged in by accident.

Part of the Merry Xmas message even suggested Christmas trees were now in store!

Graham Griffiths, who runs Artificial Grass South West, filmed the above video on a night out.

"I’m reasonably p***ed but August seems the times to get your bargains!"

Pirate FM has been speaking to one of the managers, John Hilton, who called it a "pure mistake".

"The light was plugged in by accident after a bit of a move around in the furniture department.

"We are definitely not selling Christmas trees yet but we're happy that we've made everyone smile.

"It's usually around the end of September we start getting some Christmas stuff in stock but not trees!"
