It is claimed Cornwall's newest 'tourist attraction' is a great place for a divorce.

People have beenflocking to a supermarket walkway, known as the Bude tunnel.

The plastic tunnel protects shoppers from the weather between Sainsbury's and its car park.

It currently has 173 reviews on TripAdvisor, comparing the tunnel to everything from the Sistine Chapel and the ruins of Pompeii.

But now one review has stated that actually, the plastic tourist attraction is also a great location to end a relationship.

Anne gave the tunnel a five star review and posted:

"Took my Ex Husband (Husband at the time) to the tunnel to break things off and inform him about the divorce. Bye Steven.

"The walk back through the elongated trouble felt like the first step towards freedom from Steven and his massive collection of recorders.

"Best moment of my life."

Other people have described it as a great day out for family and perfect for a rainy day activity.

Rachel L from Chelmsford gave the tunnel a four-star rating:

“We recently visited the tunnel with our 4 children and found it was great for a wet day out in Bude.

"We also had their grandparents with us and even they had a good time looking around at a more        leisurely pace and talking to the friendly locals. Just wish it had a gift shop!”

Paul S gave it top marks and said:

“We travelled 4 hours to see the tunnel after reading reviews and have to say it was everything we had hoped.

"It was the same sense of awe as I have felt visiting the Sistine Chapel, ruins in Pompeii and the amphitheatre at Verona. Highly recommended.”
