Warning after vans are broken into in Cornwall

A warning has gone out to vehicle owners in Torpoint.

It comes as two company vans have been broken into.

The crimes happened overnight on Monday, September 17.

Power tools were taken.

Police are warning others to take extra security measures.

"There have been 2 recorded crimes for works vans being broken into in Torpoint overnight on Monday 17th Sept, power tools were taken, this has obviously caused alarm and distress to the victims.

"Can we please urge you to take extra care with your vehicle and property security, ie lock all doors and windows and do not keep any items on display."
