Two pedestrians seriously injured in St Austell

Police are appealing for dashcam footage after an incident in St Austell that left two pedestrians seriously injured.
Officers say the women were in collision with a car as they crossed the A391 the Friday before last.
Both were rushed to Treliske with potentially life-changing injuries after it happened mid-morning.
Devon and Cornwall Police are urging anyone who saw something on Penwinnick Road to come forward.
"Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious collision in St Austell.
"The incident involving a car and two pedestrians took place at around 10.10am on Friday 21st September on the A390, Penwinnick Road.
"Two pedestrians were crossing the road when they were in collision with a red Kia Cerato.
"Following the collision both pedestrians, two women, were taken to Treliske Hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.
"Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area and has dashcam footage to contact police".
