Drivers on Cornwall's A30 and A38 are being warned to take extra care in the fog, after several crashes.

A car and a van were involved in one at Fraddon, which happened just before 8am on Tuesday.

The collision has blocked the slip road onto the A30 westbound, coming up from the B3275.

"A30 westbound entry slip road blocked due to an accident. Two vehicles involved at B3275 (Fraddon Services).

"Traffic is coping well but the entry slip road coming up from the B3275 is blocked".

Just before 9am, Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed no-one was injured and the vehicles are being recovered.

It is not known whether the incident was caused by the morning mist.

However, fog patches are still being reported on the A30 and at Carminnow Cross near Bodmin.

"Patchy fog on the A30 around the A38 at Carminow Cross. Approach with care.

"Cameras show patchy fog across parts of Cornwall".
