Flash mob for Cornwall's first young mental health unit

Published by the Pirate FM News Team at 10:39am 10th October 2018. (Updated at 1:31pm 10th October 2018)

The team behind an appeal to kit out Cornwall's first mental health unit for children and young people are staging a flash mob.

The Sowenna Appeal is trying to raise an extra £1.1m for things like a gym and cafe once the building at Bodmin is finished.

Now organisers will take to Lemon Quay at 1pm on Wednesday 1st October, dancing to Sunshine on a Rainy Day.

They are urging anyone who can, or who fancies doing something different on their lunch break, to get involved.

Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist, Josh Curnow, will be supporting the event, along with Pirate FM.

We streamed the flash mob live on our Facebook page - you can watch it below...
