All morning Flybe flights from Cornwall Airport Newquay to London Gatwick have been cancelled.

"Due to the high winds forecast for the south-west of England on Friday 12th October, all Flybe operated flights departing before 11am from Exeter Airport and Newquay Airport have been cancelled, apart from the Exeter to Alicante flight which has been rescheduled to 1pm; passengers on that flight should check in accordingly for that departure time.

"Customers affected by the cancellations should not travel to the airport.

"The safety of its passengers and crew is our number one priority and Flybe will, as always, do everything possible to minimise any disruption.

"Customers are asked to continue to check the airline’s ‘live’ flight information for the latest updates".
