PHOTOS: Moving poppy displays to honour Cornwall's fallen

As we commemorate the end of World War One, we thought we would take the time to appreciate some of the incredible poppy displays popping up across Cornwall.

It is to mark 100 years since the end of WW1 and to remember all those who gave their lives for our freedom.

Take a look at just a few of Cornwall's moving poppy displays...

Gunnislake:

The church in Gunnislake that has been shining a light on this poppy display every night.

They even held a poppy blessing.

Launceston:

The war memorial tower in Launceston has been covered in poppies to honour the soldiers who sacrificed their lives.

Bude:

Bude's Coastguard team got involved with helping create a wave of poppies...

Truro:

Then there is the bridge of remembrance in Truro, covered in over 12,500 crocheted poppies...

Perranwell Station:

The commemoration outside Perranwell's train station leads to the platform where men went off to war...

Bodmin:

It may not be covered in poppies, but the walls of St Petroc's Church in Bodmin have been lit in red for remembrance...
