Could another 'beast from the east' be heading for Cornwall?
There have been rumours that snow could be on the cards for next week.
It comes as temperatures are set to drop in the Duchy - by almost ten degrees.
Forecasters say there is cold air sweeping in from Russia and Poland.
That is the same place as the cold air which caused the cold snap and snow earlier this year.
As the wind changes from southerly to easterly over the next few days, temperatures will drop by several degrees. Do you prefer autumn to be mild or cold? pic.twitter.com/N0RWiN9C0L

So... could we see snow?
Martin Bowles from the Met Office from Pirate FM told us what to expect.
"We are going to see quite a contrast compared to what it is at the moment.
"Because we've got a mild week, and the temperatures in the next few days are around 15 degrees in Cornwall, we have got a contrast where it will be significantly colder next week.
"Having said that, it's perhaps not as cold as some people have been saying, there won't be any snow in Cornwall, but maybe over some mountains in Scotland.
"The max temperature will be about 8 degrees in the day and just 1 or 2 degrees at night - so a temperature drop of around 9 degrees.

"The reason we're getting colder weather is because the wind is coming from the east, and people will remember when it got really cold last year we called it the 'beast from the east'.
"And actually the wind is coming from the same direction and the same place - although there's an interesting comparison it's nothing like as cold as we had last year.
"We are quite likely to have some cold spells over the winter, I think last winters as far as Cornwall was concerned was exceptional, but there is good chance we will get some spells with a strong frost and perhaps a bit of snow here and there."

Forecasters say it is also looking 'pretty unlikely' that we will get a white Christmas. Boooo.
