Part of the A30 in Cornwall, closed for several hours after a pile-up, has reopened.

It was the second crash on the same stretch, shutting the eastbound carriageway between Bodmin and Bolventor.

Pirate FM understands it was a low-speed shunt and that no-one was injured.

Three people were injured in the first collision, where a car careered off the road and ended up in a field at Temple.

"All lanes open, recovery work completed and accident cleared on the A30 eastbound between the A38 (Callywith Junction) and Codda (Bolventor).

"The road has reopened at 15:15pm, police confirmed, following a multi-vehicle accident near Temple - first reported around 10:15am

"Sensors are showing no delays".
