Trains on Cornwall's rail link to London are being affected by stormy weather, yet again.

An advance warning has been issued for CrossCountry services between Plymouth and Exeter St Davids.

Inrix Traffic and Travel says heavy storms are causing waves to spill over the sea wall at Dawlish.

Passengers are being warned some trains will be cancelled across Wednesday's high tides.

"Advance Warning - severely reduced service on CrossCountry between Plymouth and Exeter St Davids due to bad weather. Tickets being accepted on Great Western Railway services.

"Heavy storms are causing waves to rise above the sea wall at Dawlish, making it unsafe for trains to run.

"Some services will run but most have been cancelled or will terminate short of their destination.

"Great Western services remain operational.

"This is from 7:30am until 10:30am on the 12th of December".
