UPDATE: Police and paramedics called to Cornish woods

Police and paramedics have been scrambled to a Cornish woods.

Emergency vehicles surrounded an entrance to Tehidy Country Park, near Camborne

Police say they were called just before 10.30am on Wednesday morning amid reports of concerns for a man's welfare.

The gateway was cordoned off.

Officers have now confirmed that sadly the man was found dead at the scene.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.

"Police were called at 10.20am today to Tehidy Woods, Camborne following reports of concern for welfare of a man.

"The man was declared deceased at the scene and his death is not currently being treated as suspicious."
