Man's body found in Cornish woods

Police have confirmed that a man's body has been found in Cornish woods.

Emergency services were called to Tehidy Country Park near Camborne on Wednesday morning.

It was amid reports of concerns for a man's welfare just before 10.30am.

But sadly a man's body was found at the scene and he could not be saved.

An entrance to the woods was cordoned off and officers say the death is not being treated as suspicious.

"Police were called at 10.20am today to Tehidy Woods, Camborne following reports of concern for welfare of a man.

"The man was declared deceased at the scene and his death is not currently being treated as suspicious."
