Cornwall rescuer goes to lifeboat shout in wife's clothes

Meet the Cornwall lifeboat crew member so dedicated, he turned up to an emergency shout in his wife's clothes!

St Agnes RNLI shared the photo on Facebook, after Ed Schwarz arrived in pyjama bottoms and Crocs.

The team posted to say these were the first items of clothing he could grab in a hurry!

Ed has come in for a bit of stick in the comments on the post, especially about his hurried choice of footwear!

Gavin said "Crocs though, seriously?", while Sally-Ann said "And orange Crocs... that's bad wardrobe".

But Michele said: "Bless him, no casualty would worry too much about what he wore when he pulls them out of the water or throws their boat a tow".

Ed jokingly told Pirate FM: "(I) can't explain the wife's underwear", adding "so much hate for the Crocs - they need to make a comeback".

Talk about dedication to duty!
