A crash and emergency pothole repairs have closed two stretches of the A30 in west Cornwall.

The collision involving a car and a motorbike shut the road at Crowlas in both directions.

The stretch near the Star Inn has since reopened but Inrix Traffic and Travel is still reporting slow traffic.

"A30 in both directions re-opened. Traffic easing and accident cleared between the B3309 (Crowlas) and the A394 (Newton roundabout, Long Rock)".

The emergency pothole repairs were affecting traffic on the Hayle bypass eastbound.

A diversion was in place but the stretch between the St Erth and Loggans Moor roundabouts has reopened.

"A30 Hayle bypass eastbound re-opened. Emergency repairs complete between A3074 Nut Lane (St Erth roundabout) and the B3301 Carwin Rise (Loggans Moor roundabout).

"The road had been closed for emergency pothole repairs.

"Diversion - signed through Hayle".
