An advert has gone out about a big build happening in Carbis Bay near St Ives next month.

The hit BBC show, fronted by Nick Knowles, is searching for traders to help a local family "rebuild their lives".

An event is being held in the area next week, appealing for businesses to sign up.

How can I get involved?

DIY SOS is hosting a trades day next week on Thursday 24th January.

To get involved, you will need to attend the day so you can be shown the build.

Potential helpers are being asked to email diysoscarbisbay@bbc.co.uk as soon as possible.

You will need to include your trade, availability and telephone contact details.

"The team will be helping a local family to rebuild their home and lives.

"We are looking for tradespeople and suppliers who are willing to be part of the show by donating time and skills, supplies and materials".
