Drivers are being warned to take extra care on Cornwall's A30 after a flash hail storm.

There have been two crashes between Bodmin and Launceston, after the bad weather hit.

It comes as the Met Office issues a fresh ice warning for parts of Cornwall, for Tuesday evening and Wednesday.

A stretch of the westbound carriageway was blocked at Five Lanes, amid reports of two collisions involving multiple vehicles.

"Hail on A30 from B3257 (Bodmin Moor Services, Launceston) to A30 (Cardingham Turn Off, Millpool). Approach with care.

"A heavy hail storm has lead two multiple accidents in the area".
