Reports of deer poaching in rural parts of Cornwall

An appeal has gone out after reports of deer poaching in rural parts of Cornwall.

Police say there have been a number of incidents where animal remains have been found.

It has reportedly been happening around areas in the east of the Duchy and also in north Devon.

Officers say a pick up truck has been seen in suspicious circumstances and they want to speak to anyone with information.

"Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for information in relation to deer poaching that has been ongoing in rural areas of North Devon and East Cornwall.

"There have been a number of incidents where deer remains have been found and police would be interested in speaking with anyone who may have any information that could assist in catching the offenders.

"Police are interested specifically in a '17 plate 4x4 pick up truck which has been seen in suspicious circumstances."
